Note: this is typically done in the context of troubleshooting filter-list download issues.
Launch Appliance Manager > right-click on iPrism > System Diagnostics > Connectivity
Ping (ICMP) and Connect (on Port 80) let you verify you can reach the iPrism update server (IUS).
If successful, Connect returns the message:
"Connection Successful"
Note: If unsuccessful, you need to determine the cause of the failure which could be iPrism, firewall issues, or possibly IUS server issues.
